Hey folks!

The new build orders guide is out. It contains an amazing design with 44 pages of content that includes a whole lot of stuff to help you improve your AoE2 level. Since I've recently started my full time gaming career, I want to focus on improving my gameplay and also trying to make my twitch/youtube channel grow while at the same time help others get better.

So, how do you get the build orders guide?

All you need to do is subscribe to www.twitch.tv/capoch. Remember, if you have Amazon Prime, you can subscribe for free or if not, it costs 4.99USD.

After subbing, you must join my discord channel (https://discord.gg/65NwUgz), go to discord connections in settings and sync your Twitch with your discord. You will then find a private channel in my discord where you can download the guide. It comes in two languages (english and spanish) and the idea is to keep it fresh by adding new content every month (2 builds at least) so stay tunned!

Also, I'm usually streaming 5 times a week, generally in english during the day and in spanish during the night.

I'm sorry if this is some awkward self-promotion post, but I really think this is good content for players in lower levels, and it'll also help me a lot growing into a bigger channel.

How to beat AI on hard?

I know the title seems dumb but I'm at a lost.

I play Thor a lot against AI with/without friends on a 1v1. I have the AI set to random for gods and standard behavior.

I can usually start by doing

Starting Dwarves to mine
4 Villagers to wild animals
Get pig stickers
2-3 more villagers on food
2-3 more villagers on wood

Ulfsark meanwhile is building House, Temple, Armory, exploring for more food to get to Classical Age by 4/4.5m

More villagers to food/wood and dwarves to 7-8 on gold while getting barracks up, and upgrades at it and armory. More barracks (I usually go 2-3 depending on resources)

By then the AI already has a shit ton of dudes coming my way, already upgraded them, and has half the fucking map. By this time all my resources are hindered by just making dudes and the AI just plows a head to Heroic/Mythic age and I can't keep up.

The times I do keep up the AI uses some hero powers which fuck me. One time it used Inferno which destroyed my small wall, tower, army, and hill fort set up, second time it used pestilence and bronze skin back to back.

Any suggestions would be helpful since it feels like I'm just throwing myself against a useless wall of pain and frustration.

Watched the video trailer for AOE4 and personally I don't have the highest hopes about it. Honestly Relic Entertainment aren't the best substitute for Ensemble Studios. Personally I think Microsoft should handle the IP license to Big Huge Games who made Rise of Nations and helped Ensemble create the Asian Dynasties expansion pack for AOE3. Second option would be Forgotten Empires though I would like to hear the community's thoughts instead.
